"Visited Café Año , another cozy café in Jaro, and one thing I instantly loved is its location-just right across the beautiful Lizares-Gamboa Mansion. The view alone already adds to the experience! I didn’t get to explore much since I wasn’t able to book a guided tour this time, but it brought back memories. I actually got to visit the mansion back in 2012 when I took my UST entrance exam. For food, I tried their Tortilla in Pesto and Bacon. I was pleasantly surprised that it had mozzarella. The mozzarella made the dish extra satisfying! Though personally, I found the pesto a little bit on the bitter side so 9/10. Their Cheesemelt was also good—super cheesy (a mix of mozzarella and another cheese I couldn’t quite identify), but I wish the serving was a bit bigger. Still, I’d rate it a solid 9/10. My husband ordered their tablea drink, and he said it was just okay. As for my Caramel Macchiato, I’d give it a 7/10—it tasted fine, but I was expecting a more foamy texture with the espresso layered on top. Overall, despite a few minor preferences, I still recommend this café, especially if you enjoy café hopping like I do. "Our go-to breakfast place. Café Año offers classic filipino silog meals and delicious sandwiches. If you go early in the morning after opening hours, you'd have the place almost to yourself so it is quiet."
